2016 Reading Challenge Update

So I was having a boring afternoon when I received an email from Goodreads, saying that we’re halfway through the year and the message showed my reading progress. Well, I’m pretty much happy with it since I’m way ahead of my reading challenge.

I am kicking ass in this! Also, if things go as planned, I might end up adding it up to maybe 60 or 70 books.

I’m also participating in three other reading challenges for this year. The 2016 Debut Author Challenge, 2016 Contemporary Challenge, and 2016 Netgalley-Edelweiss Challenge.

  3. Read a contemporary book with only one (1) word as its title – (Dreamology by Lucy Keating)
  4. Read one with watercolors on its cover – (The Start of Me and You by Emery Lord)
  5. Read one that you borrowed from the library

  11. Read a contemporary that’s a standalone – (The Museum of Heartbreak by Meg Leder)
  12. Read a contemporary recommended to you by someone else (friend, family member, blogger, etc.)

So there goes my reading challenge! For this August, I’m also planning on joining ARC August (by Read Sleep Repeat), like I did last year because I seriously need to work up on my Netgalley ratio. I’ve yet to decide which books I’m going to read but I bet it’s going to be more than 5 books… I hope.

How about you? How’s your reading challenge(s) so far? Any plans on joining ARC August as well?

  1. You’re doing os well this year – I’m jealous of how well you’re doing! I’m massively behind this year, but I’ve stopped caring because of how busy I’ve been, and will continue to be. Next year I’m definitely making all my challenges a lot lower, because it’s just too much!
