My Dream Literary Collection

A few weeks ago, I was contacted by Invaluable, a website for auctions, and they asked me to post about my dream literary collection. One of my biggest dreams in life is to have a book collection an have my own little library at home. Since I mostly read YA fiction, those were the kinds of books that I have. However, I am somehow feeling the need to check out some classics so this might be a long shot but I’d love to have these things as part of my collection.

LOT 41: Lord of the Flies by William Golding (First Edition)

LOT 229: Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There by Lewis Caroll

LOT 1015408: The Novels of Jane Austen (Winchester Edition)

LOT 63: Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov (First Edition)

LOT 69: Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows by JK Rowling (Signed First Edition)

I do admit the last one is applicable to all the books in the Harry Potter series. Seriously, who wouldn’t want a signed first edition of Harry Potter?

In addition to this, I’m constantly buying more books (mostly from sales and second-hand stores!) to read. I seriously would love to have the boxed set of Harry Potter with the new covers! Same goes for Percy Jackson and the Olympians!

Invaluable offers a lot of auctions for first edition books. Moreover, they also have a vast collection of  other stuff like furnitures and decors. I even had an eye for some of those Andy Warhol posters! Be sure to check their stuff out at invaluable.com.

What about you guys? What would your dream literary collection consist of?
