Last Sunday, a bunch of us book bloggers hosted a bookworm meet-up at Book and Borders Cafe in Tomas Morato. I was really excited for this one because I love meeting new people, especially bookworms like me! :)
I arrived around 12nn with Jem, since she stayed at my place the night before. Hazel of Stay Bookish and Miel of Bookish and Awesome, immediately followed. Since we were part of the organizing team, we agreed to arrive early to prepare for the meet up.
People started to arrive at past 1PM. We made them busy by having them play games like Word Soup and Playing Eros, where you need to find three matching OTPs in one minute. After that we had a Cover Guessing game, which was really fun! We also played Human Bingo which was all sorts of crazy and fun because we all got to interact with each other.
Giving out the prizes was one of my favorite parts because I could practically see the hunger in everyone’s eyes especially when we stacked the books. Hahaha! We had to wait for Dianne of Oops! I Read A Book Again because she had the prizes so was really excited for it.
We also did a Raffle and a Book Blind Date and I got 6 books in total. Hurray!
I also finally got to meet Faye of The Social Potato and Jayvee of Writer for Misfits! I also got to meet Fay of Bibliophile Soprano and her sister Erin of Celestial Pages. Most of the attendants were new faces, but some of them I already met on Twitter and it was totally cool to hang out with them. Check out their blogs/pages if you must!

It was so nice to meet and chat with fellow bookworms, while having coffee. I have to say that Book and Borders Cafe was the perfect place for a bookish meet up.
Thank you so much to everyone who came out and had fun with us. This event wouldn’t be successful without you guys! Also big thanks to Simon Teen, HarperCollins International and National Bookstore for sponsoring our prizes, and to Book and Borders Cafe for accomodating us for the meet up!
